My Summer →
This summer is going to be a hard one to beat.  Aside from the tour dates referenced above, I’ve got rowing lessons, training for a marathon, running a stage at Doe Bay Fest, visiting mom and enjoying the sunshine.  And the fall isn’t looking so bad, either.

Counting the days until I see this guy at the Tractor.  THE TRACTOR, PEOPLE! So glad I didn’t sleep on getting tickets. In other news, I am so gosh darn busy these days, I don’t know which way is up.  That is all.

I am horrible at blogging, or, why drunk drivers...
Let’s just admit it shall we? I always set out to keep up with a blog while traveling and it never really happens. Between traveling all day, no Internet connection at half the places we stop at and the amount of activity happening in between, I’ve got just enough time to chat on the phone with loved ones and my s.o. So, here we are. Just a week and some change left on this tour...

On the way to Minneapolis, in a hotel in Bozeman.  We’re still in the very early stages of the tour, but once we reach Minneapolis, things will be picking up in a major way.  We won’t have a day off from shows for another 12 days starting this Tuesday.  Here we go!

Excited to hear more from these guys - there’s only one track on their myspace, though. Leaving for tour - train-ing it to PDX on 10/10, then driving with Clyde to SF and meeting up with the band for rehearsals, then our first show.  Six weeks, dudes.  I will be gone for six weeks. Coming up with lots of stuff for my to-do list, stuff that needs to happen in the next three weeks(!) before...

day 1
This is proving to be the most challenging / life changing / adventurous / silly / sad / exciting summer yet. I have been laid off.  I am watching one of my best friends depart our house.  I am moving to a new career field.  I have made a huge financial decision.  I am making all these changes and am hoping for the best.
